My bff dropped a notecard on me the other day because she found the Kowloon Chair Festival and knew it was exactly the kind of weird and wonderful Second Life thing that I love. So thank you to her for bringing us this goodness!!!
Go to Kowloon and check this out. Hundreds of funky cool chairs, most of them free. (Almost all the really cool ones are free!!) The creativity on display is amazing- all these people started with the same blank chair and came up with an incredible variety of stuff.
And you can too! As the sign in the picture says you can paint your own chair and participate. The even goes on till the 19th.
Now I can only hope that some day in the future I can solve some chair crisis by suddenly producing all these beautiful chairs I bought! SLURL!
