Honest to goodness most days in Belli I cry at least once. They are Good tears, so don't worry I'm getting emo.
Our friends Jolly and Freddie threw the most amazing party for the 4th of July/ three days after Canada Day, whatever holiday you want. It was a rocking summer backyard party at their gorgeous riverside home. It was a great party and was absolutely slammed with all the wonderful people in our Second Life. Jolly is a fantastic DJ and local chat at one of these parties is just so much fun!!
As an aside- Being friendly and dumb I made lil commemorative BoM heart tattoos for party favors and did my usual Becca when I made the tat giver so it worked fine at home and gave nothing but frustration when we got to the party- huge thanks and apology to Jolly (and CK!) for taking time away from the party to fix it!!
So once that was under control and my stress levels dropped to chill party mode, it really was a wonderful party. And here's where the tears start because I have been in SL for 16 years and the community of Bellisseria is exactly what I hoped I would find when I was a lil noob with system hair.
Belli- I love you. All you wonderful souls that cheered when Jolly took to the mic- I truly love you and hope you can feel it because it's so wonderful a feeling.
What a fantastic afternoon that was. I lack words for how happy we both were to share our love with all of these wonderful people we love. This virtual world and the people in it sure have managed to find my real life heart and fill it to bursting with joy.
THen! the spokesmouse for Bellisseria Slenderman IM'd me and asked if I would DJ a fireworks show at the Slenderman Gallery!
One incredible party a day in Belli is not enough, let's do two!
Oh my goodness we had fun! Mouse set off fireworks and I spun tunes for a huge number of people. I apologize to all if I missed something you said as I was usually deep in the clouds having the best time ever trying to get all my friends (and Slendie) to dance!
Many of our wonderful friends came out to that also and we rocked way longer than the original hour it was scheduled to be.
Two humungous parties filled to the brim with all the people we love! It's a wonderful thing when you wake up excited to meet the day. Thank you Bellisserian wonderful friends who give me that joy.
