I live in eastern Bellisseria and have a friend who has a houseboat down in Rain Song in southern Bellisseria, so I knew the Salmon Eddy rez zone from sailing past it on good days, and re-rezzing there on bad ones.
It's very handy because you can access the bays in the heart of Bellisseria just to the north, and all those "remote" outposts to the south, as well as the GTFO golden shores there in western Belli- the straight shot of great hubs like Cullis, Kuga, Ebb Tide and the rest.
If I want to have a nice long sail I usually pick Salmon Eddy as the start or the end- usually the start as it's not much to come home to!
