A while ago I went on a rant about how crowded Fogbound Blues is even when they are playing the radio, but the gist of what I was saying is that someone should come up with a great alternative with great blues music and that cozy, friendly atmosphere we all used to love about fogbound.
Well as I said in that article, Crossroads is great too, but lately my friends and I have been going to my favorite of the bunch, Toby's Juke Joint Blues Club. LOVE this place!
I found Toby's in the Destination Guide and went with a friend and had a great time! Went back with another friend and am back again to blog about the place and it has been a delight each time. GREAT music, wonderful DJs, and they have a choice of group dancing with big feet on the floor you can click, or, very obvious dance balls.
I love a place with big dangling dance balls. I am not kidding, the bigger and more obvious they are the better I like it, I hate going to clubs and standing there like a noob trying to figure out how to dance.
Toby's clicks all my check boxes, great dances, great music, no bots, friendly dj's and a great atmosphere. If you are looking for an SL blues club, check this place out!
