Ver-sigh

 I used to live in a part of the US that pronounces their local municipality Versailles as "ver sales."

So I always cringe when I see that word. But then I needed a place to take a picture with this gown from JustBecause (in-world store) and this hair from Exile (in-world store), and the name of the hair inspired me to search for, you guessed it, Versailles.

Now, first, two quick bitches, one that has nothing to do with Versailles or any of this story. Why is the shared environment always night? Am I missing a setting? Am I too focused on the darkness to appreciate when it's light? It's dahhk like it's a Christopher Nolan Batman movie up in here sometimes. 

Number two- I don't know if the real Versailles has the number of silly little rooms and doors one has to open but my god if so the royalty probably wanted the whole thing to come crashing down just to escape the number of doors people were opening and closing around them.

Ok. Now to the praise. In case I forgot to say, I look my silken butt to Versailles and it was adorable. Ok, the snow fall was a little cray cray because I just couldn't get a good picture with it, but everything else is adorable. 

If you had one of those books when you were a kid, pop up books, where you have to put tabs into slots of printed paper to make these amazing pop up pages it's kinda like that- they've done a great job of recreating the look and the feel of a palace in a very small space. Camming around it's quite cleverly done with a lot of old-school SL building.

Definitely a great backdrop for my awesome dress and hair.
