ZOMG what an amazing day.
I am absolutely humbled by how awesome the grand opening parties at Riverbridge went today, we had so many beautiful souls on the brand-new rooftop dancefloor people were waiting for it to collapse.
I heard someone say there were at least forty at one point during the grand opening party but I couldn't really read the words in chat because my huge smile made my eyes all squinty. We had people on the roof and on the patio and I hope some Mers tried the pool. DJ Bela was amazing for the opening party.
I couldn't keep track honestly, it was packed and fantastic and I thank you all so much for coming! I tried to grab pics but was afraid I was slacking on the hostessing so hopefully in the future I'll have my act together. I certainly had a great time and I think everyone else did too!
I love you all so much and want to send one more round of love to Elly, Eva and Bela for their humungous hearts and generous spirits. I said all during both parties today that my only job in this was staying out of the way of my amazing friends because it's true. Their hearts made this happen.
And they did it, as we all are, for Belli. But back to the Superfriends of Riverbridge;
All of it- the look, the feel, the music, the name and the very floor we dance on- all of it was created by people giving their time and talents and ideas freely.
All of us on "the Riverbridge Team" wanted to use this awesome spot for the public good and wow! What parties to open the place with!
Before I get to the pics, I owe shout-outs also to so many people I know I will forget some so let me be sure to double thank Eva and Bela because literally everything about the place that is awesome was made or placed by those two. Literally everything not made by moles on the property is theirs and is from their hearts. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart. ♥
Krys has been so supportive and receptive and helpful at every turn I would have doubted we could do this is she weren't so cool and capable with guidance. I try to save up my all my anxieties about whatever adventure I'm in to for just moments before they start so I especially thank you for you cool calm (and of course thank you to Vari's excitable nature and random-ass pews of support!) ♥
And to everyone that came to the parties, thank you! I had the best time and it was your presence that made it so special!! Here's to the first of many great parties at the Riverbridge Café! I'm always uncomfortable singling out even these most deserving people because I might leave some out by accident. Please know that I'm grateful to all who have taken the time to be part of this. ♥
